This week Summary Sunday will be more like an Update Sunday. I have tons of things going on and I just want to make sure you know about it all.

I haven’t posted in 3 weeks, so here’s what happened during that time:

READING:

I’ve read If I Stay by Gayle Forman, Siege and Storm by Leigh Bardugo, Poison by Bridget Zinn, and Moon Called by Patricia Briggs.

I’ve also read a manuscript by a friend.

WRITING:

I’ve been writing Captured Love.

I’m one of the founders of NA Alley, but as of last weekend, I’m not a member of the blog/website anymore. Unfortunately, I’m busier than I ever was and with the pregnancy, I need to slow down. Jeez, guys, it’s already June! Sometimes I think time is going by faster and faster …

READING:

I’ve read Catalyst by Jennifer Snyder, and One Two Three by Elodie Nowodazkij.

WRITING:

I finished the first draft of my secret project! I still need to go over it and smooth things out, but at least the hardest part is done.

WHATELSE:

This week I was running around daughter’s rehearsals for her recital, which will be later today. As much as I love her dancing, I can’t tell you how happy I am that this is done for this season. Now, I’ll worry again about dance only in September.

Yesterday was BEA (Power Reader turned into BookCon). I was going to go, I bought the ticket months ago, but ended up not going :(

Happy Mother’s Day!

READING:

This week was a slow reading week (again). I’ve read only Write. Publish. Repeat. by Sean Platt and Jonnhy B. Truant. Highly recommended for newbie and veteran indie writers.

WRITING:

I’ve started writing a secret project! AH! And I’m plotting Everlast #3, which I should start writing some time next week.

WHATELSE:

My mother in law arrived from Brazil last Friday. She’ll stay only 10 days but we’ll make the most of it … For example, yesteday I finally saw Divergent! *happy dance* It was great :) Today I’m going to watch The Winter Soldier (finally) and next weekend I should watch The Amazing Spider Man 2 – can’t wait!
