What’s Up Wednesday

The lovelies Jaime Morrow and Erin Funk came up with the WHAT’S UP WEDNESDAY meme. Here’s Jaime’s explanation about it: “It’s similar in some respects to the Currently… post, but it’s been whittled down to only four headings to make it quicker and more manageable on a weekly basis. You’re invited to join us if you’re looking for something to blog about, a way to let your blog friends know what’s been going on with you.”

Whats up Wednesday

WHAT I’M READING

I didn’t touch  Origin by Jennifer L. Armentrout this week … I want to, I just don’t feel like it … And I’ve read The Only One by my friend Magan Vernon, and began Frostbite by Lynn Rush last night.

WHAT I’M WRITING

I should finish revising Soul Oath (The Everlast Trilogy #2) and Cup of Life (The Everlast Trilogy #2.5) today or tomorrow, and then I’ll send it back to my editor. After that, I’ll probably jot down some ideas for a novel I want to rewrite that have been in my mind, and then I’ll go back to writing Playing Pretend – I have 25k words down and it should be other 30-35k to finish.

WHAT INSPIRES ME RIGHT NOW

I bought a Zumba game for my PS3 and I’m very excited about that! I was a ballerina for 20 years  and I love, love dancing. I miss it so much, so Zumba is a great way of exercising AND doing something I like. Dancing is really good to my soul …

Legend of Korra! Oh my God, now that’s a TV show! I love the characters – all of them, I love the plot, the setting, the mystery, the background … it’s perfect. The only thing I have to complaint is about the length. It’s only 24 minutes! And the ending of the last two episodes killed me …

WHAT ELSE I’VE BEEN UP TO

Like I said, I’ve been “playing” Zumba. It’s super fun and a great workout.

Last night, I switched my iPhone 4s to a iphone 5s so it’s like having a new toy …

My kid takes 4 classes at a local dance studio (ballet, jazz/tap, hip hop and acrobatics) and they have a Winter Follies recital in December – her previous studio didn’t have that, only the recital in May, and she’s very excited about it. And mommy is ready to take a bunch of pictures!

I took the liberty of adding another part to this meme:

WHAT’S UP ON MY BLOG

These are my blog’s posts from the past week:

– Cover Love: Entwine by Rebecca Berto
– Cover Love: Dragon’s Game by E.J. Wesley
– Book Blitz: The Only One by Magan Vernon
– Cover Love: The Star Catcher by Stephanie Keyes
– Book Blitz: I Am Yours by Faith Sullivan

Now tell me, WHAT’S UP WITH YOU?

Don’t forget to stop by Jaime’s post and check out the linky list of the awesome writers who are participating of this meme!

Cheers,

I don’t know how often I’ve stood in front of those shelves contemplating buying Zumba for our Wii. Now, I’m tempted again :)
Glad to hear your writing is going so well!

Sounds like you have lots of different projects on the go! Exciting that you’re almost done with revisions, too! :)

Sounds like you’re getting tons done on the writing front. Good for you, Juliana! I’m hoping that will be me soon, too. :-) I’ve always kind of wondered about Zumba. I’m not a dancer (never have been), so I kind of wonder if I would be coordinated enough to do it. I might just have to stick with Power 90 and the treadmill. ;-)

Good luck with finishing revisions! I’ve been watching Legend of Korra from the beginning. I was so excited when it was announced. Did you watch Avatar: The Last Airbender? That show was my favorite when it was on, which I think is why I’m not head-over-heels in love with Korra.

I’m not a huge dancer, but I’ve been thinking about trying Zumba. I just hear so much about it!

Good luck with the revisions and the new project. Hope it all goes well. Have fun with the zumba game too :D

Zumba always looks like so much fun! I have zero coordination, though, so I could never hang in an actual class. Maybe I need to get the “game” as well. Best of luck with your revisions this week, Juliana!

Ooh, I really want to try that Zumba game. That’s the only way I’ll ever do that – no way I’ll dance in front of anybody! lol Good luck with finishing the revisions. :)

Glad you’re almost done with revisions. And I’m a big believer in rewriting old manuscripts.

Talk about having plenty of irons in the fire, Julianna–you’re certainly keeping yourself busy with writing projects! All the best with those. :)

      Sorry–Juliana! I hate it when I typo someone’s name. :(
