#ROW80 Check-in 12/02

Hey friends! Welcome to my weekly ROW80 update!

Here are my goals for the past week and how it went:

  • Writing: just keep writing. This week was a whirlwind of catching up, and I also received edits of my novella, so I worked on that for a little over 2 days.
  • Reading: read book #72 of the year. Read #72 and #73. And I’m over 75% on #74.
  • Social media:  try to be present, but not too much. Bleh. The same. More than I wanted to.
  • Exercising: at least 4x. Six times.
This week was … different. I had some decisions to make and that took a lot of time. I also had edits to get back asap, and that also took a lot of time.

My goals for next week:

  • Writing: just keep writing. I want to finish this novella I’m writing before my brother and his family arrive (Dec 18th).
  • Reading: finish book #74 of the year, and critique CP’s manuscript.
  • Social media:  try to be present, but not too much.
  • Exercising: at least 4x.

About Juliana

While Juliana Haygert dreams of being Wonder Woman, Buffy, or a blood elf shadow priest, she settles for the less exciting—but equally gratifying—life of a wife, mother, and author.

    Edits are important!
You still amaze me with your reading.

Catching up can be such a time suck, but things seem to fall back into a better place with the necessities out of the way, so good job. Looks like you had a fab week, Juliana. That’s great that you’ll be getting time with your brother and his family. Hope you have a great week.

The only two things on your list that I’ve been successful at are reading (lots) and staying away from social media (unintentionally). You have some great goals here and you’re doing a great meeting them! :)

You’re doing great! Just keep writing on that novella. Best wishes for knocking it out before the 18th!

You had a busy week! I know what you mean about wanting to do all the things before the holidays, I’m also trying to get a lot done before this round ends. Hope you have a lovely week :)

December is always a tough month, although a great one filled with family and the holidays. But NaNo sucked out most of my brain cells, so I’m entering into it a bit off-kilter. I missed my Sunday NaNo, but I’m determined to get back to a schedule. I started by dropping by to see some of my fave bloggers. Great week. Hope you have many more to wrap up 2012!
