New Adult Pitch Contest

Hey there!

Today, at NA Alley, I’m talking about pitches, because tomorrow we’ll be hosting a critique session there that will serve as a training session for the awesome contest YAtopia will host on their blog on July 10th. They’ll be accepting 35-words pitches of New Adult manuscripts and agent Sara Megibow from Nelson Literary Agency and editor Heather Howland from Entangled Publishing will be choosing the winners!

The critique session tomorrow will have the participation of lovely New Adult author Lynn Rush. I hope to see you there!

NEW ADULT IS HAPPENING!

Cheers,

About Juliana

While Juliana Haygert dreams of being Wonder Woman, Buffy, or a blood elf shadow priest, she settles for the less exciting—but equally gratifying—life of a wife, mother, and author.

I’m glad New Adult is happening, because it’s such a gold mine for material. First years of college? SO much is going on—change, growth, new surroundings… It seems like such a great time period to focus on, and it’s about time it got tackled. :)
