Reading: September 2011

Here is the list of the books I read in September.

Since I didn’t read any craft books on August, I’ve read 3 last month.

Succubus Revealed by Richelle Mead

A Taste of Humanity by Shiela Stewart

Save the Cat! by Blake Snyder

The Last Rising by Rachel Firasek

Shadowland (The Mediator #1) by Meg Cabot

Nail Your Novel by Roz Morris

Paranormalcy by Kiersten White

Writing Fiction for All You’re Worth by James Scott Bell

Have you read any of those? Did you like them?

Happy Readings,

So what did you think about Save the Cat? I’ve heard so many excellent things about that book, but have never read it. Haven’t read Writing Fiction for All Your Worth, but enjoy every book I have bought from James Scott Bell that I figure I would.

Sounds like you got a lot of good reading in!

Save the Cat is worth every penny. Actually, it’s worth more than you pay for it. It should be a required reading to creative writers.
Writing Fiction for All Your Worth is a collection of blog posts from James Scott Bell. It’s an encouraging books. He keeps telling us we can do this, we just need to focus and do it!
You should give them a try =)

I love Save the Cat. Blake’s two sequels are just as amazing. He created a great community of screenwriters on his website. He was a very talented man and definitely a Writer’s writer!!
