Juliana Haygert with credits

While Juliana Haygert dreams of being Wonder Woman, Buffy, or a blood elf shadow priest, she settles for the less exciting—but equally gratifying—life of a wife, mother, and author. Thousands of miles away from her former home in Brazil, she now resides in North Carolina and spends her days writing about kick-ass heroines and the heroes who drive them crazy.

When did you first realize you wanted to be a writer? When I wrote a short novella for a Portuguese class (think like English class in the US) when I was 13yo.

If you decided not to be a writer, what would your other dream job be? Why? Can’t think of anything else I would rather be doing, honestly.

What is the scariest thing you’ve ever done in your life? Going to live abroad at 20yo.

What is one talent that you’re hopeless at, but you wish you had? Singing.

Do you have any suggestions for aspiring writers? Just write ;)
