Have you heard of Rock the Drop?
I heard about it last year, when it was happening, so I had no time to participate – but I’ll participate this time – APRIL 18th!
From the readergirlz’s blog: “Support Teen Lit Day, which followers of the Readergirlz blog and others celebrated by taking part in “Rock the Drop,” the guerilla-style book distribution scheme in which YA fans leave copies of favorite books in public spaces for readers to pick up and enjoy.”
I wanted to drop New Adult books but because there’s steamy scenes and kids may pick up the book, I’ll drop YA or even popular MG books. It’s like they say: it doesn’t matter what you read, as long as you read!
Will you participate?
I have Destiny Gift‘s files on my hands (in my computer actually) ready to go. Can you imagine how hard it is for me to hold on to them? I’m doing my best not to run to Amazon KDP and Nook PubIt and upload it right now.
But then, think with me, why not?
So, I’ve compromised with myself. I’ll release Destiny Gift next Monday, April 1st. I’ll hit “publish” on KDP and PubIt on Sunday, so, if it comes up early, that’s not a problem ;)
Yay! I can’t wait. Seriously. I CAN’T WAIT!
Title: Frostbite (Touch of Frost #1)
Author: Lynn Rush
Date of Release: September 17th, 2013
Amanda gives a whole new meaning to cool…
Amanda Smith is sick of getting chased from town-to-town. So when she lands in tiny Trifle, Arizona, she hopes it’s her last move for a long time. Despite hating the smallness of the town, she settles in and finds a best friend, and even a boyfriend. Normality at its finest.
But for a girl who can shoot snow from her hands and lift a two-ton truck over her head like a bag of feathers—normal is not an option.
The scientists who murdered her mother come barreling into Amanda’s quiet life. She must decide if she’ll run again or stay and fight. The price of either choice might be her life or the lives of those she’s come to love
About the author: Driven to write, Lynn Rush often sees her characters by closing her eyes watching their story unfold in her mind. Lynn Rush is a pen name that is a combination of two sources – Lynn, the first name of her mother-in-law, who passed away and Rush – since the author is a former inline speed skater and mountain biker. All of Rush’s books are dedicated to Lynn, her namesake, and a portion of the proceeds benefits cancer research and awareness.
Happy Release Day to Kelley Lynn and Fraction of Stone!

About the Author: Eventually the day came when the voices in Kelley Lynn’s head were more insistent then her engineering professor’s. So instead of turning to her Thermodynamics book, Kelley brought up a blank page on her computer screen and wrote. Somewhere along the way she became a Young Adult author.
Kelley was born and raised a Midwestern girl. She’s not afraid to sweat and fills her free time with softball, soccer and volleyball. (Though you probably don’t want her on your volleyball team.) She occasionally makes guest appearances as a female vocalist for area bands.
You can find Kelley hanging out at her blog, titled in her name, as well as the group blog she shares with her fellow critique partners, Falling for Fiction. Kelley is a member of the Society of Children’s Books Writers and Illustrators.
